Hello everyone.. At last my favorite contemporary Art Fair ever from London, which takes place every year in October now in New York.
For the first time this year, Frieze landed in NYC and opened it's doors, May 2012.
The big white tent where all the gallery booths would camp in for the 4 days this fair lasts, was built in Randall's Island. I had never been to this island,to be honest; I passed by it when heading to LGA or JFK airports, but had never set foot in it. I loved the idea for the fair to take place there, it actually worked but some people, especially Europeans where mad/pissed because it was a "Non-Smoking Island".. How funny! I say this because I quit.
The Art presented on each booth was just excellent!!!! I KNEW IT! haha
Amazing VIBE!, Great Art!, Good coffee!from Sant Ambroeus -very important to have coffee in hand while walking through the long and spacious hallways of the art fairs, for me at least- Delish!
I enjoyed the fair very much and was super happy they brought this fair to NYC. It was highly needed, I would say.
